The A train runs to the Beach 98 stop in approximately 1 hour?s time. The exit to the Beach 98 stop is on the same block as Playland.

By Car

From Williamsburg to Rockawayget onto I-495 E toward Eastern Long Island . Take exit 19 for Woodhaven Blvd, turn Right onto Woodhaven Blvd. Continue onto Cross Bay Blvd & across Cross Bay Blvd Bridge. Take first right onto Rockaway Beach Blvd to Beach 98th St

From Lower Manhattan to Rockaway take Brooklyn Bridge or Manhattan Bridge to I278 Bklyn-Queens Express West to the Belt Parkway. Take exit 11 South onto Flatbush Ave, cross the Marine Parkway Bridge. Bare left off bridge to Beach Channel Drive. Make a right on Beach 97th Street and continue to Rockaway Beach Blvd. Turn left to Beach 98th St.

By Ferry

Temporary ferry service from Manhattan has been provided between the Rockaways and Manhattan. Ferries go between Beach 108th St and Beach Channel Drive, and Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan with free transfers between Pier 11 and 34th Street in Midtown. One-way fares are $2.
