Philosophy

Playland is a lifestyle brand with emphasis on collaboration, restoration and sustainability. This direction is demonstrated in the room restoration. The team have restored the bones of this early 19th Century building using materials of its age including reclaimed Virginian barn wood and local reclaimed Church materials. 

Playland has engaged 12 prominent designers and artists to curate individual rooms in their own aesthetic. This innovative idea has drawn talent from internationally known local artist Pat Conlon, to rising New York artist Fede Saenz. Each season, inspiring artists and designers will be given the opportunity to work on a room for the new upcoming seasons.
